Introducing: Fan Mail Epilogues (Supreme Tier Exclusive)
Greetings, esteemed members of the Supreme tier. You have unlocked something rather special.
Starting with the compilation of Book One, each volume of Oedipus Protocol will include a bonus epilogue section in which the cast of the story sits down to read and respond to letters from you, the readers. Think of it as an AMA, except the hosts are fictional characters with questionable judgment and no media training whatsoever.
How it works:
Once per month, Supreme tier members can submit a letter, question, or comment addressed to any character in the story. It can be serious, absurd, heartfelt, or deeply inappropriate. At the end of the month, the top ten submissions (voted on by the community) will be answered in character by the cast.
Rocky will be the host, naturally, because he can’t help himself. But any character is fair game. Want to ask Jasmine about her skincare routine? Go for it. Want to ask The System why it chose that particular accent? Submit it. Want to tell Shrek he’s actually your favorite character just to watch Rocky’s reaction? You’re a menace and we respect you for it.
Once the book is ready for publication, a poll will be put up with all of the previously answered questions so that you, my gracious patrons, can decide which letters are worth of being featured.
What to expect:
These responses will be written as a full scene. The characters sit around, reading your letters, arguing with each other about how to respond, and generally making a spectacle of themselves. It’s not a dry Q&A. It’s a performance. Think podcast energy, except everyone on the panel has killed something recently.
The Fan Mail epilogues will be included as bonus content in the compiled volumes, meaning your words could end up in the actual published books and, Seredh willing, audiobooks. Your name (or pen name, or alias, or “anonymous coward” — your call) will be credited alongside your submission.
How to submit:
Drop your letter in the comments of the monthly Fan Mail submission post (coming soon). Keep it to a few sentences as the characters have short attention spans. Especially Rocky.
